At Desert au Maroc, we are a local company specializing in trips, tours, excursions and bivouacs in the heart of the Moroccan desert. Our company was born from a deep passion for the Sahara, its nomadic traditions, wild landscapes and unique hospitality.

Founded by Mohamed Lahmidi, who was born and raised in Zaouia Sidi Abdelnabi, between sand dunes, desert silence and endless horizons, Desert au Maroc has one mission: to help travelers discover the true face of the Moroccan Sahara.

As a child of the desert, Mohamed Lahmidi has always known the Saharan tracks, hidden places, oases, bivouacs, nomadic families and the most beautiful routes of southern Morocco. His deep connection to this land inspired him to create several projects dedicated to desert tourism, including Sahara Foum Zguid, Desert Maroc 4×4 and Voyage Foum Zguid.

All these projects share the same vision: to offer travelers authentic, human, well-organized experiences that are deeply rooted in desert culture.

Our company is supported by a complete and experienced team made up of guides, drivers, travel companions and local field members from the region. They were also born and raised among the Saharan dunes, giving them real knowledge of the desert, its tracks, seasons and traditions.
